The Tulane Green Wave’s trip to paradise for the Cancun Challenge ended up being a disaster for the program. They are heading back to New Orleans riding a three-game losing streak that began last week when they lost to the New Orleans Privateers 93-87 in overtime.

Greg Desrosiers Jr. caught two scoring passes and ran for a touchdown, and Memphis defeated No. 18 Tulane 34-24 to knock the Green Wave out of contention for a berth in the College Football Playoff

Memphis controlled the line-of-scrimmage, time of possession and every phase of the game in a 34-24 victory Thursday night at Yulman Stadium.
