President Trump is threatening to sue The Wall Street Journal for reporting on his past ties to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein while calling for some additional Epstein files to be made public.

The White House on Thursday closed the door on calls for a further inquiry into the Epstein investigation, saying the president would not be recommending the appointment of a special counsel.

A collection of letters gifted to Jeffrey Epstein for his 50th birthday in 2003 included a note bearing Donald Trump’s name and an outline of a naked woman, according to a Wall Street Journal report published Thursday.
