Texas A&M Aggies sign AD Trev Alberts to new contract through 2031
On Friday, it was announced that athletic director Trev Alberts will sign a new six-year contract with the Aggies, keeping him in College Station until 2031. The new deal was approved by the Texas A&M System Board of Regents during a special telephonic meeting earlier today.
According to the Austin American Statesman, Texas A&M will be paying $3.705 million to their non-conference opponents they’ll welcome to field. Samford will be paid the least, a total of $550,000 for their visit to Kyle Field on Saturday. UTSA was paid $1.5 million, and Utah State was paid $1.65 million for their game.
