The lockdown at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga has been lifted after police say they have found no evidence of a threat on campus.

The University of Tennessee-Chattanooga lifted a campus lockdown Thursday afternoon, less than an hour after warning students of a possible active shooter.

An all clear has been issued for the University of Tennessee's campus in Chattanooga after it went into lockdown following reports of a possible shooting, the university said on Aug. 21. "The UTC campus is ALL CLEAR. The lockdown has been lifted," the university said. "Law enforcement found no evidence of a threat."
