In the latest development concerning the ongoing India's Got Latent controversy, popular YouTubers Ashish Chanchlani and Ranveer Allahbadia have voluntarily approached the Maharashtra Cyber Cell to record their statements.

Sources said the duo had sought an extension when the summonses were issued but later informed the police that they would appear on Monday

YouTubers Ranveer Allahbadia and Ashish Chanchlani on February 24 appeared before the Maharashtra Cyber to record their statements in connection with the India's Got Latent case, officials said.

The duo appeared separately at the cyber headquarters in Navi Mumbai after skipping previous summons issued by the agency

This comes after the Gauhati High Court asked Ashish Chanchlani to appear before the investigating officer within 10 days.

Samay Raina removed all episodes of India's Got Latent from YouTube following a controversy involving Ranveer Allahbadia. Download links for the episodes have surfaced on social media, but their legality remains uncertain as the Supreme Court criticized Allahbadia's obscene remarks during the show.
