The New York Jets are expected to field a run-heavy offense this season. Starting quarterback Justin Fields has been an inconsistent passer at training camp. In two offensive possessions versus the New York Giants in Week 2 of the preseason, Fields completed just 1-of-5 attempts for four yards.

New York Jets head coach Aaron Glenn told reporters on Tuesday that he's "very confident" in the team's passing game and isn't concerned about Justin Fields' ho-hum performances in the team's first two preseason games.

The new-look Jets should be more competitive under first-year head coach Aaron Glenn. The former Detroit Lions defensive coordinator has the energy up in Florham Park, but going into the season with Justin Fields under center means any and all optimism has a ceiling.

If Justin Fields doesn’t work out for the New York Jets, their quarterback of the future may be in next year’s draft.
