Nickelodeon has greenlit an animated series set in the world of its beloved Avatar: The Last Airbender. The new show, titled Avatar: Seven Havens, has a 26-episode order and will follow a new Avatar. The series will be the third in the Avatar -verse, following the original show and The Legend of Korra .

The Last Airbender franchise has been revealed, and fans of the animated series may want to know when the upcoming show takes place and who will be the Avatar in it. Nickelodeon recently announced a new animated sequel to Avatar: The Last Airbender,

We’re getting more new Avatar: The Last Airbender — beyond just the live-action Netflix adaptation, of course.

Nickelodeon has ordered a new sequel series to Avatar: The Last Airbender that takes place after The Legend of Korra. According to Variety, Avatar: Seven Havens will consist of 26 half-hour episodes spread across two seasons, also known as Books 1 & 2 in Avatar style.

According to the announcement, MTG Avatar: The Last Airbender will be hitting shelves on November 21. It's unclear what the set will involve in terms of products, but we can probably expect something similar to the Assassin's Creed crossover last year. (Play and Collector boosters at a minimum, in other words.)

The trailer features the MTG logo doing some impressive airbending, with the familiar sounds of the show’s original opening in the background. And the caption understood the assignment, as it begins with the well-known line “Long ago, the four nations lived in harmony, but everything changed when the Fire Nation attacked.”

Avatar: The Last Airbender is getting another sequel from original creators Michael DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko. In honor of the series' 20th anniversary, Nickelodeon announced the franchise's next series,
