At the brand new Everglades immigration detention center that officials have dubbed “ Alligator Alcatraz,” people held there say

Local 10 News heard from Florida lawmakers Friday who are suing the state for access to the “Alligator Alcatraz” migrant detention facility, just hours before they join fellow Democrats and Republicans on a tour of the controversial center.

The detention center built by the state of Florida to house undocumented immigrants in the Big Cypress wilderness known as “Alligator Alcatraz” has sparked all sorts of reactions.
