Raul Jimenez and Edson Alvarez scored to answer Chris Richards' early goal, as Mexico came back to beat the United States men's national team 2-1 to defend their Gold Cup crown.

The U.S. Men's National Team came up short in the Gold Cup Final on Sunday, losing to Mexico 2-1. A tight game all the way through, Mexico had just enough to leave NRG Stadium in Houston with a win. The United States got off to an early start when Chris Richards found the back of the net in the fourth minute.

There has been growth in midfield and attack during the camp so far but it still needs to be shown in defense ahead of facing a tough Mexico squad. This is where Pochettino's tactics come into play to guide the USMNT past this challenge.
