A cat survived a terrifying 380-foot fall that killed her two owners at a popular Utah landmark, according to the Garfield County Sheriff’s Office.

Officials with the Garfield County Sheriff’s Office said the man and woman, later identified as 45-year-old Matthew Nannen and 58-year-old Bailee Crane, fell about 380 feet from Inspiration Point sometime Monday night or early Tuesday morning. The location was known for its high view over the hoodoos in the canyon below.

Two hikers tragically died earlier this week after falling from an overlook at Bryce Canyon National Park in Utah. But their cat, now named Mirage, survived.
