West Virginia University men’s basketball fans were treated to more free basketball Thursday afternoon, but the ending of its second-round game in The Bahamas was not as much of a storybook finish as Wednesday’s.

Chucky Hepburn stepped to the free-throw line with 31.8 seconds left and made one of two to tie the game at 62-62. West Virginia held for the last shot, but did not get a shot off because the shot clock expired with 1.8 seconds left.
