Julia Fox made headlines with her audacious appearance at the Vanity Fair Oscars after party, where she donned a striking outfit that left little to the imagination. The model and actress turned heads on the red carpet with a nude dress designed by the innovative Dilara Findikoglu.

Fox’s look, named by Findikoglu as “Rebirth of Venus,” was a nod to Italian painter Sandro Botticelli’s seminal work “The Birth of Venus” (c. 1480). While Findikoglu isn’t the first designer to take cues from the 15th century artwork, her reference may be the most literal.

The 31st annual Vanity Fair Oscar Party, one of Hollywood’s most prestigious post-Academy Awards events, took place on Sunday following the 97th Academy Awards ceremony.
