A pair of Georgia Bulldogs players have reportedly been arrested for shoplifting ahead of the Bulldogs' Sugar Bowl matchup.

According to the Athens Banner-Herald, the freshmen were booked into Clarke County jail in Athens on two counts of misdemeanor shoplifting. Glover and Walker were arrested Friday evening and released on $1,526 bond before 8 p.m.

Defensive lineman Elijah Griffin has lived up to his five-star recruiting ranking in his first season in Athens and earned an All-SEC freshman team nod. Griffin has recorded 18 tackles and a sack this season and has already shown a significant amount of proficiency as a pass rusher.

The 2026 Georgia football schedule has been announced by the SEC. The Bulldogs will have nine games against SEC foes, a first for the league. Georgia’s nonconference games come against Georgia Tech, Western Kentucky and Tennessee State. The first game is set for Sept. 5, when the Bulldogs will face Tennessee State in Sanford Stadium.

The Dawgs’ men’s basketball program picked up its eighth win of the season on Saturday afternoon with a dominant 84-65 win against the Cincinnati Bearcats in State Farm Arena down in Atlanta, Georgia.

The No. 3 Georgia Bulldogs (11-2) and the No. 9 Alabama Crimson Tide (10-3) are the top programs in the SEC. Together, they have won the last six SEC championships. The Joe Burrow-led 2019 LSU Tigers were the most recent team other than Alabama or Georgia to win the conference crown.
