Israel is set to partially reopen the Rafah crossing between the war-devastated Gaza Strip and Egypt on Sunday, following months of urging from humanitarian organisations, though access will be limited to the movement of people.

A draft resolution from Trump’s “Board of Peace” outlines plans for a US-run Gaza, with no place for Palestinians.

A local health official said at least 26 people had been killed in the attacks, which the Israeli military said had targeted Hamas commanders.

COGAT, the Israeli military body in charge of coordinating aid to Gaza, said in a statement that starting on Sunday a "limited movement of people only" would be allowed through the Rafah crossing, Gaza's main gateway to the outside world.
