One look at this game from anyone outside the Magnolia State, and its ho-hum this looks like a lopsided match-up between a 10-win team and a five win team but maybe home field advantage makes it a close one.

Calhoun City is the midway point between the universities’ campuses in Oxford and Starkville. Ole Miss ROTC cadets will run from Oxford to Calhoun City and ceremoniously deliver a football to MSU’s cadets, who will then run back to Starkville. This will be the 13th Egg Bowl Run.

The Bulldogs are off this week preparing for the Egg Bowl, giving fans an opportunity to watch other matchups across the SEC.
