Rescuers pulled 18 people from the San Francisco Bay after a boat carrying a rowing team capsized, California officials reported. Officers received a distress call that a boat had overturned near a marina at 8:44 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, the Brisbane Police Department said in a news release.

Multiple people were thought to be on board “based on reports from individuals familiar with the vessel,” the Coast Guard said.
