Brian Walshe’s bizarre claim that his wife Ana died of “natural causes” at age 39 “defies common sense,” a Massachusetts prosecutor said Friday as the murder trial wound to a close.
The jury has begun deliberations after closing arguments were delivered Friday in the murder trial of Brian Walshe, a father of three accused of killing and dismembering his wife.
The probate court case alleges Walshe, who had been disinherited by his father, destroyed the will and took control of his estate.
The last witness to see Ana Walshe alive emotionally recounted her final night — a New Year’s Eve celebration at the Massachusetts home she shared with her husband Brian Walshe – who is on trial for her murder. He also recounted Brian Walshe’s cold-blooded response when he called and revealed Ana was missing.
