The Orioles claimed Walker off waivers from the Phillies on Thursday. Walker made three appearances at the big-league level earlier this season with the Blue Jays, allowing four runs with an 8:2 K:BB over five innings. He spent all of his time in the Phillies organization at the Triple-A level, and that's where he'll remain with the Orioles.

The Baltimore Orioles promoted outfield prospect Dylan Beavers from Triple-A Norfolk on Saturday, slotting him into the starting lineup for his MLB debut where he'll bat sixth and play right field in Houston against the Astros.
